Earlier this year Goethe-Institut Kenya collaborated with the iHub on a digital art project aimed at engaging artists and techies. Based on the theme—Kenya’s Future—we responded to this call with a proposal to create a series of animated narratives that explores Kenyans imagination on what the country will be like in fifty years.
Zamani Yajayo from the Swahili words zamani (the past) and yajayo (that which is to come) is a series of animated narratives that explore Kenyans imagination on what the Country will be like in fifty years.
Lenny Njagih is a story enthusiast, sound and digital artist. Melisa A.Allela is an illustrator, animator and teaches Interactive Media Design at the Technical University of Kenya.
